Samantha Pelster

Hello! I am so excited to be joining the REMS crew as the 2/3 Discovery teacher. I am thrilled to become a part of a place like REMS which is filled with adventure, excitement, and wonder!

This will be my third year of teaching - I came to this passion a little later in life. I went from the courtroom to the classroom after transitioning from twelve years as a civil litigator. But I could not be more profoundly grateful for the change. It is an immeasurable honor to learn alongside kids and watch them grow into their best selves.   I have a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness, a Juris Doctorate, and a teaching certificate through the University of Colorado's ASPIRE to Teach Program. 

I grew up in Nebraska, but have been blessed to live in a variety of places including Rome, Italy, and thanks to my Marine husband the Mojave Desert. We have lived in Colorado since 2015 with our two sons Gus and Theo. We moved here for the camping! Colorado did not disappoint in that respect! I love all things outdoors, reading, LEARNING (yes, I am that geek), music, knitting, cooking, and exploring this wonderful world.
