CHAPERONE FOR VOYAGE

2025 Winter Voyage Chaperone Applications are Due by Tuesday December 10, 2024

Complete steps 1 - 5 by the due date:

  1. Complete the Community Volunteer Application

  2. Provide a copy of your Colorado Driver’s License            (We are unable to process any out-of-state Driver's Licenses)

  3. Submit to Ms. Ashley for a DCSD Background check

  4. Complete Volunteer Best Practices Training

  5. Review Parent Chaperone Expectations ​​

​​Chaperones are selected by lottery and will be notified by Ms. Ashley at least 3 weeks in advance of voyage start date.

Please consider being designated as a Chaperone Alternate!

If selected as a chaperone:

  1. Complete and submit Chaperone Agreement

  2. Complete the Camp Adult Waiver that will be sent to you

  3. Attend the mandatory meeting the morning of departure

CHAPERONE FOR FIELDWORK

Crew teachers select chaperones by lottery for fieldwork day trips.  If you are selected as a chaperone for field work, all documents must be submitted to your crew teacher at their requested deadline.  

 

Parents:

  1. Complete Volunteer Best Practices Training

  2. Complete Fieldwork Chaperone Agreement 

 

Guardian/Non-Parent: 

  1. Complete Community Volunteer Application

  2. Provide a copy of your Driver’s License
